How We Work
Flatka aggregates publicly available apartment listings and makes them accessible to international audiences.
Our Model
We collect publicly listed apartment rental listings and enrich them with AI-powered translations, structured cost analysis, and multi-language search — making the Polish rental market accessible to expats, students, and international professionals.
Our Sources
We aggregate listings from Otodom.pl, OLX.pl, Gratka.pl and Nieruchomości-online.pl, four of Poland's largest rental marketplaces, and from rental posts shared in Telegram communities. All original listings remain the property of their respective publishers and are clearly attributed.
What We Add
We build tools that do not exist on any single platform:
- AI translations into 8 languages — making listings accessible to expats who don't read Polish
- Cross-platform deduplication — the same apartment on Otodom, OLX, Gratka and Nieruchomości-online.pl is shown once, with all sources linked
- Structured cost breakdown — utilities, admin fees, deposits parsed from free-text descriptions
- AI-powered condition assessment, pet policy detection, and furniture analysis from listing text
- Price history tracking and deal scoring against comparable listings in the area
- Unified multilingual search across all sources with advanced filters
Attribution & Traffic
Every marketplace listing links directly to its original page. A post from a closed community may have no link an outsider can open; there we say so instead of pretending otherwise. We preserve source watermarks on images and do not replace the original platforms — we help users discover listings and send them to the source.
Data Processing Notice
Apartment listings may contain personal data of listing publishers (names, contact details). We process this data as follows:
- Purpose: providing a multilingual apartment search service for international audiences
- Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) — making publicly available listings accessible across languages
- Retention: a listing is searchable only while it is live at its source. When it disappears there, we stop showing it — but the record itself is kept. Use the takedown form and we will delete it.
- Your rights: if your personal data appears in a listing, you may request its removal via our takedown form
For Rights Holders
Flatka is a search engine and discovery tool — we help users find listings and follow through to your platform. We do not compete with source platforms and do not host original content. Every user interaction with a listing results in a direct link to the original page.
Photos from the four marketplaces are displayed via direct links to the source platform's servers; we do not copy or store those files. Photos attached to a Telegram post cannot be linked that way, so we keep a copy on our own servers and delete it on request.
We respond to all removal requests within 48 hours. Platform operators may request bulk removal of their listings at any time.
